Holiday season is the perfect time to spend special moments with your friends and family. And what better way to show them you care and introduce them in the holiday spirit than organizing a nice meal on a beautifully decorated table?

This time of the year, the dinner table and the Christmas tree are the most important items in the house. We have already told you earlier about Christmas tree trends for 2012 so this is the moment to let you know something about the holiday dinner table.

It doesn’t matter how many people you are having over, the dinner table has to look perfect. For small tables you can choose a cozy and personal design while for larger ones you could opt for a bright and wintery design with little personal accents. If you have a lot of guests, you could make nice name cards to put on the table so everyone knows exactly what his sit is. Be sure to place your guests so that they have common interests and things to share.

There is a huge variety of colors and decorations to choose from. For the centerpiece, you could fill a bowl of Christmas balls, artificial snow or seasonal flowers.  Don’t forget about the candles; they will create a warm and sometimes romantic environment.

Chair decorations are important too. My very favorite are the white fluffy angel wings. I think these really make a point in Christmas spirit and also give a nice feeling of a special holiday. Other decorations include bows (for both the table and the chairs), beads or bells.
